    Woa, that’s so awesome. I’m definitely buying it. I’ll probably pay $20 or something. Just a little more than a typical CD because I think this idea is awesome and I like Radiohead so much. I hope it winds up being a hit. It’ll be really interesting to see what happens.

    I paid them eight pounds for the digital pre-order. Here’s most of the confirmation email transcript. The end is my favorite (as well as the part about it being DRM-free):

    I just ordered and downloaded it now. I paid 10 pounds and 45 pence. Which is something close to $21. Definitely worth it. I hope it’s a successful endeavor. I’m going to go try to find so reports on how it’s going.

    Let me know if you find anything interesting. I forget the figure but I remember being underwhelmed by how many people paid. RH still made a killing I’m sure, sans middlemen, tho that’s not really the point; hopefully it translates to bands with far less visibility viewing distribution like this as a viable option.
